A VT football player and the Huff family dealerships have teamed up for back to school. Brock Hoffman, an Offensive Lineman for the Hokies, joined Mike Huff of Bob Huff Chevrolet Buick GMC and his team to provide backpacks and school supplies to Wythe County 6th graders who started school last week. Hoffman spoke to Scott Memorial Middle School students just after lunch on Monday about the importance of academics and hopes the backpacks and supplies help ease the transition into middle school. Presentations will also be made to 6th graders at Fort Chiswell and Rural Retreat middle schools.
