At Wythe County Community Hospital, our top priority is safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our patients, providers, employees and community. Effective immediately, we are transitioning to a zero-visitation policy in the Emergency Room ONLY. If a patient is a minor (under the age of 18) they may be accompanied by one adult. Due to an increase in COVID positive patients, ER visitors will be asked to wait in their vehicle while the patient is being seen and treated in the ER. We continue to closely monitor the prevalence of COVID-19 in our community and follow state and federal guidance as we adapt our operations to safely care for and support our patients.
