Extended Rules
Each year, Three Rivers Media Corporation stations give away thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. And nothing makes us happier than for you to win. But we do have guidelines on our on-air/Facebook/website contests. First, you must be age 18 or older to win. Prizes must be picked up in person at our studios at 110 West Spiller Street in Wytheville. A valid, government photo ID must be presented when picking up your prizes, which must be picked up within 30 days. One may only win once every thirty days. Other restrictions may apply. Odds of winning depend on the number of participants. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. No purchase is necessary. Winners must execute a liability waiver and publicity release. Three Rivers Media reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or higher value in their sole discretion. The Food City 4th of July Dream Cookout prize is valued at approximately $1200.00. If a winner is unable to be notified for any reason for any amount of time, the applicable prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

ALL ENTRANTS/WINNERS ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE RELEASE THEY HAVE GRANTED BY ENTERING/PARTICIPATING/ACCEPTING A PRIZE INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL DERIVATIVE CLAIMS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF CONSORTIUM, LOSS OF SERVICES, AND LOSS OF COMPANIONSHIP, WHICH ARISE OUT OF ANY PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR LOSS THEY MAY SUSTAIN WHILE PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST OR USING THE PRIZE, OR ARISING OUT OF OR AS A RESULT OF THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR USE OF THE PRIZE, WHICH MIGHT BE STATED AND/OR ASSERTED IN ANY FORUM BY THEIR SPOUSE, CHILDREN, FRIENDS, FAMILY, LOVED ONES, AND/OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES.Entrants/winners acknowledge and agree that (i) the Released Parties are not acting as the manufacturer or distributor of the prize or any component thereof, (ii) the Released Parties have not made any warranties, and have specifically disclaimed all express and/or implied warranties with respect to the prize, (iii) the release they have granted herein shall extend to and protect the agents, employees, representatives, assigns and successors in interest of the Released Parties. As used above, the “Released Parties” shall include all of the entities and persons described in the contest rules and shall also mean any person or entity associated in any way with the contest, including, but not limited to the Released Parties, all entities, organizations, and persons providing any aspect of the prize, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors and employees, interns, volunteers (if any) at the event (if any), and any property owners. Furthermore, the term “Loss” as used above shall mean all damages, losses, costs, and injuries of every kind and character including, but not limited to, all economic damages, loss of business opportunities, embarrassment, mental anguish, loss of consortium, loss of services, loss of companionship, and loss of employment.
